Details
Help make sessions as meaningful and individualized as possible
Volunteers are paired up with residents based on shared language/interests, and participate in culture based activities that are mutually enjoyable. These include:
- engaging in meaningful and fun conversations
-reading a resident's favorite book aloud
- watching a tv show/movie of the resident's choice
- drawing, knitting, board/card/trivia games
-listening/performing music
-arts and crafts
-yoga, meditation
-special events
